Ashburton Avenue is the street to take a leisurely walk on if you are looking for a small town feel in a large city. Even a drive down the road will show you the natural beauty and historic importance of the river, as well as the entire city of Yonkers. Asburton Avenue runs along the Hudson River and gives views you would only imagine in a painting. A stop at my favorite pizza place, Ashburton Pizza Restaurant on 168 Ashburton Avenue is the perfect ending to the afternoon.
