Has anything been done with the old Borders in Mount Kisco?

It was such a great store, in a great location.

Not yet. We are all bereft without the old Borders (and Seattle's Best downstairs). The store was always both lively and comforting, fantastic for children and adults alike. The salespeople were infinitely helpful and well-informed. We desperately need something of the same ilk in that spot.

When I think of the many times I spent there with my children.. It was a smart place to spend time with them no matter how old they were and it as fun to follow their interests in books and music that way without prying/asking as we parents do! It was great being right next to The Mt. Kisco Movie Theater and I had met a friend there many a time before going to see a movie. Perhaps they will be able to subdivide it? Here is a call to action!

Sadly, no. I didn't see any sign of anything when I drove by a couple of days ago. That and the old Food Emporium in Yorktown are both such prime locations. I am personally hoping for a Trader Joe's!
