"Ethnic Diversity abounds on this little street"

Amazingly quiet little street in the heart of Silicon Valley. Just off of a major street, close to excellent schools and shopping center, with a Starbucks but none of this commerce is visible from the houses.

I-280, Hwy 85 and 101 are all very close and easy to get to.

Monthly rent is sky high $$$$$.

jotoma Primemover, you mentioned that neighborly spirit is not that great, what are some of the elements lacking from your neighbors?

primemover The pace of living in the Silicon Valley probably contributes most to the "distance" between the neighbors, even though we live so very close to each other. My family is the newest to move in (plus we are renters) and after 6 months, we mostly waive and smile at each other. Asian, Indian and Caucations seem to have difficulty getting conversations rolling.

This is not the kind of neighborhood that would block off the circle and have a block party.

jotoma Thanks, sounds like our current home. All too busy to talk with neighbors, then again sometimes you don't want to.
