Kelly Ave, East Akron

The street is not exactly the most clean or tidy street in Akron, but it does have it's own upsides. The area is not prone to many illegal activities or problems that many parts of Akron face. The houses are normally well taken care of and offer many different styles to choose from. The neighbors are normally pleasant and don't mind to get together for a little chit chat. The houses offer a small back yard normally with an attached deck. The bad thing is that there is minimal parking and the driveways are narrow which sometimes can make it hard to be able to get out at times. The city does not plow down the road at all. The street is not maintained which makes the water sit in the crack in the middle of the road. There are many disappointing features about the street itself, but the cost and the good living that can come from being just down from the main part of Akron and the Hospital can make it all worth while.
