Nobody really knows a lot about this short strech of Broadway. More specifically, the 4700-5200 blocks of North Broadway. This little run of Broadway usually contains a few Vietnames Resturants, Stores, Bakeries and Resturant Supply Stores. I refer to this area as little Vietnam. I have never been able to understand it but these resturants have had the best Vietnamese Food I have ever had. In addition it is normally very cheap. I am looking around and I think the best of this group is New Saigon at 5000 N. Broadway at Argyle. I have had many great dishes there including great spring rolls, any pho, Sugarcane/ Shrimp Paste. Take a moment and ask them if they have any durian the fowl smelling super sweet fruit. I know there are several resturants in the area and I am assuming they are owned by the same group due to the universal high quality. I usually show up at these resturants every 3 months or so and some of the workers even remember me. Try it you won't be sorry.
