Hillside where my elementary school p.s 135 stands. Whenever I think of Hillside the one thing that comes to my mind is the local famous Gabby's pizza. They have all the great iltalian food that you would expect from a top flight restaurant, just about anyone in this Queens area has gone into this shop look it up and see the pictures on the walls. From Hillside you can get to any where either through access to the train or to the city bus, good place to live if your starting out.

Hillside Ave in Queens has many retail stores and restaurants and businesses. Many of the restaurants are ethnic, as the neighborhood has a large Indian and Pakistani population. Many of the homes are multifamily, with a large number of them having rentals. Public transportation is easy to reach, with the Queens bus stopping on several locations.The area has many new families and elderly.
