"Main residential street; not a bad place to live"

I've lived on this street most of my life and overall it has been a pretty pleasant experience. The only con of living on a main residential street is that while convenient, cars parked in front of your house overnight have gotten hit by careless/drunk drivers. Otherwise there are plenty of convenience stores, gas stations, farmer's markets, places to order pizza, salons, parks, schools, etc near by. There is a bus stop down the street, however buses don't come by too often because public transportation has traditionally been frowned upon, being next to Motor City.

Neighbors are friendly and diverse. Everyone smiles and waves at each other but its not too common to stop and chat. There are no wild parties and for the most part, everyone is respectful of the other.

Overall it's not a bad place to live.

"Nice area and only getting nicer!"

Michigan Ave is the heart of Dearborn. Everything from stores, restaurants, and city buildings (such as City Hall or the Dearborn Preforming Arts Center) is located on this street. It's known as the city's "cool place" and gives off a big city feel in this smaller town.

New stores seem to open every few days and there's always some adventure to be had. Some (if not most) of Dearborn's best restaurants can be found along this street. On top of it all, Michigan Ave also boast an impressive night life.

Not only is it a prime location for commercial purposes but just recently lofts have been introduced in the middle of the mix.

The only thing to be weary about is the actual road. It is very worn and beaten up from the huge volume of traffic it faces every day and has gotten a reputation for having some of the meanest potholes around.

"Nice residential area with lots to do."

Monroe is a nice quiet residential street with also a lot to do just up the road. It has restaurants, tanning salons, pizzerias and more. Its a nice street to live and to shop on.

"Historical Dearborn friendly area with lots to do."

Michigan Avenue in Dearborn Michigan is such a great street that offers so much to do. It has numerous restaurants and shops to choose from. Many of the restaurants are new to the area. There are coffee shops, book stores, historical homes, theaters. Just about anything you can think of you can do on Michigan Avenue. There are also new homes being built right there along Michigan Avenue. There is so much to do in the area.
