Camp Bowie, which still has the old brick paving in some areas, is a great place if you are looking for dining or shopping. This is a busy, noisy street that goes right into downtown, so those who are seeking a quiet place should go elsewhere. Additionally, traffic can be bad on this street, especially the closer you get to down town, so you should be prepared to endure a lot of cars (my mother HATES to drive on this street for that very reason).
