"A secret hidden gem"
Uccelli Blvd is a secret hidden gem in the masses of streets in Redwood City. Uccelli Blvd eventually goes right out into Smith Slough which is a great area to go fishing and or boating. I have a cheap boat which I have to keep at my house because I can't afford a dock but I take it down to Uccelli on the weekends and go out through Smith Slough down to Steinberger Creek and just relax. Uccelli Blvd forms from another road but once you get onto Uccelli you will find it to be bustling with people especially on the weekends. There are plenty of fish speciality stores, a couple of small seaside restaurants and plenty of picnic tables. It can be windy sometimes down here so make sure that you bring a sweater or something warm just in case. It would be a shame for some wind to ruin what could be a wonderful day.
