"I love Alexander Street"
I lived on this street and also ran a Mortgage Brokerage in an Office Space on this street. This street is in a great neighborhood. It's a residential as well as commercial zoned area. I lived really close to main street. There are few little restaurants in the area. There is also a Delta Sonic for those who love to keep their cars clean. Alexander also runs across Monroe and Park Ave where all the night life happenings take place. This area is mostly filled with young Professionals or college students staying off campus. The houses in the area are large and very well maintained. I would recommend this area for anyone looking to visit or settle.

"The heart of nightlife in Rochester"
Alexander Street is one of the more bustling parts of Rochester for younger twenty-somethings that are wanting to get out and enjoy the night. There are several bars located on the street, including the recently renovated Alexander Street Pub and the Old Toad. Both are hot spots for the college and young professional crowd, have good beer selections and on-street and off-street parking. It can get a little hectic at night, so for families Alexander Street is not where to live. But a great place to go when coming from out of town.
