Kirkham Street is a very quiet street that is located in the famous Sunset District. It runs down the avenues starting at roughly 4th avenue all the way out to 48th avenue. I like Kirkham Street because of its frequent 4 way stop intersections so I sometimes take it when I want to leisurely make my way down to the beach. It is pretty flat on this street which is nice to get out and walk around. Irving Street is nearby for some shopping, mostly Asian store, or there is Judah Street which is the home to the N muni line which can take you downtown and beyond. Noriega Street is also popular and close by for good restaurants and a few other stores. Kirkham is a very typical street in the sunset, there isn’t really anything unique about it but at the same time, it isn’t boring.
