Burlwood drive is a small detour you can take off Los Palmos drive. It has houses only on only one side of the street and a mountain side on the other. It is pretty high up on the mountain so it gets a good view of the houses in that neighborhood. There are a lot of creative houses and gardens on this street which I find really unique. This is a one lane curvy street so people drive slowly which is nice. It is about 5 blocks from Monterey Avenue which has a grocery store, bus lines, restaurants, etc. It is good for families with children because there are parks and schools close by. There is also a path to walk on in between the houses in the middle of the block from Cresta Vista Drive which is a nice walk but it looks scary at night because of all the trees.
