I have lived on this street for around 9 years now and I absolutely love it. It runs from the sunset to the richmond and on both sides of the park there are roughly the same things. It is close enough to many bus lines that can take you anywhere in the city, but far enough away to not hear the sounds of them passing. In the richmond, it ends near a park which includes a beautiful lake. In the sunset, it is very close to a mountain you can walk up with a great view. Irving, Clement, and Geary streets are all cross streets of 11th avenue which have a variety of food and activities for night life. My only drawbacks to living on this street are that there are many 2 way stop intersections not in our favor, and that people tend to speed up the hills so it causes some noise. Other than that I feel that it is an ideal place to have any sort of family.
