"A decent place"

The Beaumont area is one of Knoxville's nicer-looking suburbs, with mostly historic houses. Sitting towards the north side of Knoxville, although technically not really part of the North Knoxville area, Beaumont still features several of the same aspects its neighbors (Historic Old North Knoxville, Fourth and Gill) do.

However, the Beaumont area isn't heavily college-student or 20-something based, like those other two areas. Many people own their older, Victorian-style homes in this area instead of renting. Although there are apartment complexes, the majority of the area consists of homes.

There are schools in the area and it's adjacent to the busy Broadway Avenue. It's mostly a family-oriented area, with many families owning properties for decades upon decades.

The neighborhood is smaller than the adjacent North Knoxville areas, as well. Although it's a pleasant area that's in a more remote location, there's nothing that particularly jumps out about the Beaumont area.

"Beaumont: Historical Homes Dating Hundreds Of Years Old"

The Beaumont neighborhood is a beautiful area in Knoxville where years married couples have chosen to bring up their children and have welcomed their grandchildren into their homes. The homes within the Beaumont neighborhood date back as far as a century old and are characterized with luscious history of the Knoxville area.

Some of the homes within the Beaumont neighborhood have been let go, which is a shame to see these fabulous architectural masterpieces being destroyed due to lack of love. Over the past several years, the Beaumont neighborhood has seen quite a bit of renovation, but still there are homes here that still need to be renovated. These homes are perfect for young couples looking for a new home to fix up and pour their love into.

The homes are a collection of stylish Victorian homes, which are perfect for renting and owning. Many of the Victorian homes here have been restored to their natural beauty. Some of these homes are owned by families, but many college students are now making it a popular area for themselves. The Beaumont neighborhood is close the University of Tennessee campus and downtown Knoxville. The Beaumont neighborhood is filled with some of the most beautiful trees that have been saved throughout the years.

"Great fit for college students"

The homes in this area are older homes, some dating close to one hundred years old. This area offers a rich history, but can appear run down in some areas. As with several areas of north/downtown Knoxville, these residents are mostly college students. Beaumont is a beautiful area that offers wonderful architecture and homes with good standing character. The homes here are well suited for college students on their own, or couples seeking to own their first homes. A lot of renovation has happened in this area over the last several years to help restore the history.

With close proximity to downtown and UT campus, this spot is a great fit for college students. It can be noisy and have some traffic issues considering the location. However, these should not be a terrible deterrent to anyone moving in. The school system as far as UT is excellent, the school systems for younger children are not really the top of the list in Knoxville. Overall, this area offers a lot of great advantages to college life. Good proximity to the night life, the restaurants and school, what else could you need?

"Great area for investments!"

This neighborhood has a good mix of properties. There are great single family homes, multifamily homes perfect for renting, some older and Victorian homes great for those handy people, and homes that have already been renovated and ready to be home to someone. There are a lot of houses being rented, mostly occupied by college students, but there are some homes that are owner occupied. The beautiful Victorian homes that Knoxville seems to have a lot of are prominent in Beaumont and some have been restored to their original beauty. There are some good investment opportunities in Beaumont for those who are handy or have the money to invest in renovations. Beaumont is close to downtown, UT campus, Knoxville College, shopping, and dining. It's nice to be so close to everything and still have mature trees and kids playing outside. Noise can be a problem, especially with such a population of college students who like to have rowdy parties from time to time, but usually the young adults that reside here are respectful and aren't a problem.. The public k-12 schools are not top notch, but the city has really taken an interest in them and are actively working on them. No parks in the actual neighborhood, but there are some that are close; Lonsdale Park and Malcom Martin Park are really just a short walk away. Not much lacking in this neighborhood.
