"A long road for lots of boredom..."
SW 8 Street in Miami, FL has a reputation of being a loud, latin, dustpan, and accurately so. Along this road you can stop at places like Florida International University and big retail stores like KMart. It even connects with the Micosukee Indian Resort and Gaming area after you have driven about 5 miles down a barren stretch of dark road. Parts of this street have a very bad crime rate late at night, and it is a local joke that 8 street is where Miami prostitutes are most prevalent. Other than a long connected street, SW 8 Street is not a place I would recommend for any outing, and especially not living.

"You don't have to leave the country to visit Little Havanna."
One of the great things about MIami is the great ethnic neighborhoods. One of the largest and best is little Havana. On or around the general area of 1500 SW 8th St is a large vibrant, lively neighborhood full of everything Cuban. If your looking for Cuban food, Cuban music, Cuban movies, etc. This is the place for you.
"Part of Cuba, not part of America"
This city is the center of Little Havanna. Although it is geographically in the USA, it is mentally and politically in Cuba. The Cuban immigrants in the business on this street do not tolerate people with a different political or cultural view. If you go here as a tourist, be careful.
