"A Long Street Leading Directly to an Ocean View"
When I first moved to Seattle Washington several years ago, fresh out of college, only a few weeks from starting my first real job, I had this image in my mind that no matter what, I had to live by the Ocean. Of course I soon realized that my meager salary would in no way begin to cover an apartment, and certainly not a condo with an ocean view, so I had to readjust my unrealistic dreams. I settled on Southwest Stevens Street which is a long street running through Seatlle, but I was able to find a moderate Studio Apartment less then two blocks from my original destination of living arrangements, and ended up being quite satisfied, and in the end, traveling the opposite direction, landed me at my current residence. It is the perfect street to live on if you want to be within walking distance of the Ocean, and also close enough to the downtown area, if you happen to work there.. Its busy during the daytime hours, but quiets down after six pm, and was a very safe area to live.
