4th St, Carroll Gardens

This area of Brooklyn is very nice, without being too ritzy. The homes are mainly made up of middle class families and they are all friendly, or at least the ones I have met. Unlike many New Yorkers the people around here are not arrogant, and they are hard working people. The roads are very well kept and you can even find some nice restaurants near by that won't break your bank.

4th street has a lot to offer in housing. Offers a lot of variety in terms of places to eat and things to do. You will find many restaurants located on 5th avenue and Prospect Park is near by. Great location for families or for someone planning to start a family. Very convenient just about anything you need is within reach much like the rest of New York. Very warm and pleasant atmosphere. I really enjoy taking walks in this area.
