"low key family oriented neighborhood"

217th Street in Queens is another low key, family oriented, quiet neighborhood in the eastern part of the borough. This is a safe neighborhood and good for families. However, it is quite a long commute to Manhattan. There are mostly single family homes but some apartments and duplexes. I would recommend this quiet neighborhood for people who want more of a small town feel in the city.
