Carner Ct. E is in the Meadows East neighborhood of the Meadow Springs development in Richland. This is a well established higher-end part of the original development built beginning in 1975.

Our street is a cul de sac of ten custom-built homes of between 2800 to 4000 square feet. The neighbors are upper middle income professionals and range between the ages of 40-70. The homes are well cared for with well landscaped yards. On the west side of the street the homes have a knock-out territorial view of the Horse Heaven Hills (my deck and the windows from the family room and dining room provide an awe-inspiring view of the hills at sunset especially!) as well as some of the greens and fairways of the Meadow Springs Country Club golf course.

Our neighborhood is just off one of the main thoroughfares through the neigborhoods of the area, Bellerieve Drive which becomes Broadmoor. A short walk across this road and down about 400 feet is the neigborhood Claybell Park http://www.ci.richland.wa.us/RICHLAND/Parks/index.cfm?pagenum=87 comprising 11 acres with a soccer field, tennis courts, etc. A short stroll further takes you into Amon Creek, a natural preserve area purchased by local residents to remain in its beautiful original state with many native habitat and animals.

Just up Bellerieve Drive is Gage Blvd. which is the main corridor from Meadow Springs to the Columbia Center Mall area of Kennewick. The local Ben Franklin Trasit bus stops right on Bellerieve. At the intersection of Bellerieve and Gage is a wonderful restaurant and bar, The Bonefish Grill. Its main fare is high-end seafood dishes, and the local professionals have adopted the small bar as a meeting place for friends; I've heard a few business deals struck at the stand-ups! Just down the sidewalk is the Great Montana Bakery, a fantastic lunch spot with freshly prepared sandwiches using their signature breads. Also in this small mall is Garlic Jim's, a pizzaria offering outstanding and unique pizza's to go or for home delivery. In this same crossroads are two area banks, a dry cleaners, a nail salon and Nest Feathers, a cottage-style furnishings store.

The nearest grocery store, Albertsons is slightly over a mile away on Gage, and within 2 miles is the regional mall with many big-box stores including Lowes Hardware. The area sports arena is just behind this store, home of our WHL hockey team and our Arena Football team.

The school district is Richland, with Badger Mountain Elementary, Carmichael Middle and Richland High schools, all of which are rated highly in their respective catagories by the State of Washington. The school buses stop just off Bellerieve and our cross-street, Whitman.

This is truly a can't beat neighborhood where you feel peaceful and safe, yet have quick access to any amenity the family could desire.
