"Great shortcut from Folsom to Harrison!"

This little alleyway right out of downtown provides a place to park your car off the main streets. Located nearby is Yeurba Buena park and the Metreon. These are both great places to take the family for a day of fun, ice skating, bowling, or just a day outdoors in downtown SF. The nightlife here is pretty good, because only a few blocks off of Rizal are several nightclubs where one can enjoy the party scene. Be wary of leaving your car here overnight with any valuables visible, homeless people often loiter these alleys at night, and have no problem with smashing your window in for a few cents in change.

"Good parking on this street, but thats all that is offered."

Lapu Lapu offers a great parking option for people visiting the SOMA district in SF. Only a block away from whole foods grocery store, this quiet alley is located right off of Harrison Street. Be wary of parking your vehicle here overnight however. There are frequent homeless loitering these alleyways at night, and broken car windows are not uncommon when a jacket or change is left visible in the car! The club scene is vibrant nearby, with 2-3 clubs 21+ and older people can go to enjoy themselves for the evening.

"Quiet street right off of Portola Ave and twin peaks"

This street runs through the quiet Miraloma district in San Francisco. This is mainly a residential area so there is not much to do in terms of restaurants, movies, or evening outs, but Portola Ave is close by and you can take that directly to Market St and downtown SF. There is a local elementary school nearby at the base of Mt. Davidson, and a local church called Miraloma Community Church, which offers great Vacation Bible School over the summer for kids. Recommended!

"VERY VERY quiet neighborhood near a great city park"

This street is the best place to park if you plan on hiking up to the top of mount davidson. This peak has a giant cross which is the size of a small skyscraper at the top and proves for some of the most amazing views of the city, especially at night. This street is filled with cozy homes and always has parking available for visitors to this quiet area.

"Great area to visit! so much to do"

This street is a quieter street just off of a main street, Point Lobos Ave, which then becomes Geary Blvd. This street is only a short walk from the ruins that were once Sutro Baths and the cliffhouse. Both are very huge milestones in the history of San Francisco. This neighborhood is filled with friendly people and beautiful homes that are really close to the beach.

"Not much to do but a cool place."

This little road is located in the middle of the old presidio in SF. There are many old barracks and buildings that are no longer in use or are simply used for storage. Some are run down, some actually have people living in them now. This street is also only a few blocks from the Palace of Fine Arts, which is a must See for any visitor to SF.

"Nice quiet street with lots around"

This is a beautiful street nestled between 16th and 17th streets. This is located only blocks away from the heart of the Castro district, a place with many restaurants, bars, and shopping! Also, nicely located on the corner of pond and 16th is a public library, a great place to study or just to read.

"SO much to do in such a small area!"

The area around clement and 21st Ave is a great place to go for an evening out. There are many many places to eat, including some of the best sushi shops in the area. There is a local theater where one can go to catch a flick and mountain lake park is a nice stroll away and a great place to take the kids.

"Belcher is a street of residences and 1 church as well"

Belcher is a relatively quiet street nestled between sanchez street and church street right off of 14th. This is a nice shortcut that is less busy than sanchez or church to go from Duboce ave to 14th. Watch out for speed bumps! Safeway is a local supermarket less than 2 blocks away.

"Very lively, and many different cultures blend in the area"

On Sanchez St. around market, on can find a mixture of lots of different options. Places to eat, places to work out, shops to buy groceries, movies, music, and just about anything. Located only a few blocks from the Castro district, Sanchez st is conveniently nestled next to Duboce Park, which is a great park to take the kids (or dog!) on a sunny San Francisco afternoon.
