"Very busy and popular street in Dallas"

This street is a very long street that goes through a lot of the cities in the DFW area. But the main section of this street is in Addison. This 4-5 miles stretch of Belt Line in Addison is filled with restaurants, bars and clubs.

There are restaurants like Hooters, Chili's and Denny's but there are also higher end restaurants and lesser name restaurants like Clay Pit, Kobe Steakhouse, Fogo De Chao and much much more.

The atmosphere is very energetic at night as there are a lot of bar hoppers, party goers and just people who like to have a good time. During the day, the street is still very busy as there are a lot of companies located near the street.

"Good road connecting West and East Carrollton"

This street is a pretty decent and clean street to drive on. There are green trees and green grasses on both sides of the street and in the median. The road condition is pretty good as well as they have recently finished contruction on it.

The street is mainly in Carrollton but it can lead out to 35E in Lewisville or 90 or Dallas Tollway in Dallas.

There are mostly houses along this street but at the main intersections of Josey, Marsh, and Old Denton, there are gas stations and restaurants along the side. The houses on this street are mostly older homes in the 80's or 90's. But closer to the intersection of Old Denton, the houses are much newer and bigger.

"Very busy stretch of street."

I work on this stretch of street and it's very busy during the day. It's not busy enough where you'll be sitting in traffic waiting 10 minutes for a light, but enough to have to wait for at least 2 rounds of lights.
This street is mainly commercial as there are tons of shops and restaurants. This street also connect to 35E.

Because this street is almost like the main street that connect Carrollton to Lewisville to Flower Mound, there are a lot of cars during the day but surprisingly no 18 wheelers.

"Good on north, bad on south."

I used to take Belt Line to Montford to work for 6 months so I drive on Montford at least 5 times a week. There is a big difference in its road condition and looks as you drive from Addison into Dallas.

The street is very decent and clean looking when it's on the Addison side as there are shops and restaurants on both sides of the street, but when you get closer to Dallas, the street just get uglier and conditions of the road gets worse. But this street, like the previous reviewer stated, is a better alternative to Preston and the North Dallas Tollway.

Since I used to work on Montford and and LBJ, I'll write a review about that area. There's Valley View Mall which is pretty outdated and "trashy" over the past few years. It seems like the only people that go to that mall are high school teenage kids. You can tell the mall is getting pretty bad when a major department store closed its door at that mall. However, not too far from Valley View Mall is the Dallas Galleria Mall where it's a total opposite of what VV Mall is like. Galleria is big, nice and clean!

Restaurants wise, there are a lot to choose from around the LBJ area but it's mostly fast food joints and lower end restaurants. But if you head north into Addison, you'll run into Preston or Preston Wood Village (I think that's the name) shopping center. That's where all the fun is at and the good restaurants are located there.

"Nice and quiet street to live on."

My uncle used to live here and even though the street isn't the cleanest or newest, it does look pretty decent for its age. The houses on this street, like all the houses in the neighborhood are from the 1970's so it's showing its age. But beause it's old, there are lush green trees and brushes everywhere so it's very beautiful and welcoming during the day. However, because there is only one (I think) street light for the whole street, it's very dark at night.

It's not much different from any other Dallas surburb's neighborhood street. You have cars parked in the front sometimes and kids playing on the yard at other times. The cars that are parked on the street can get annoying at times because the street is narrow and small so it's kind of tough to drive through the street if there's another coming your way from another direction.

Construction is currently under way (they might be done with it already) to make the nearby

"Party Street of Dallas!"

Like the previous reviewer stated, this street is mainly for young people to hang out on weekends. I used to frequent this part of town a lot because there are just so much to do.

I would suggest not driving there because parking is a pain in the butt and a lot of people park in front of houses in the neighborhood...which really tick off the homeowners. If you do decide to go to Lower Greenville and don't want to drive there, there is a Dart Rail Station that is located in the Mockingbird Center, not too far away from Greenville.

If you're from out of town, I would recommand eating at this canjun restaurant called "Aw Shucks", it's located right across from the theater. They use the "honesty" program when the customers pay for their food. The food there is awesome and it's one of my favorite places to eat in Dallas. There are of course other great restaurants that I really like it the area like Snuffer's, Two Rows, Blue Fish, Campisi's (Mockingbird center).

If you're into shopping, there are tons of stores that cater to every tastes and desire. Right across 75 is Northpark Mall where it's always busy with great shops.

"Quiet street in a buzzing area"

I used to live at the Douglas Park Apartment Complex about 10 years ago and I really miss living there. The street itself isn't the prettiest or the most active, but the streets surrounding it like Lemmon Ave and Cedar Springs are packed with party goers and fun seekers every weekend. About 10-15 years ago, this street was mostly filled with houses and apartment complexes but now it's mostly commercial buildings.

Right across the street from each other is a Tom Thumb and a Kroger and right down the street of that is Cedar Springs, Dallas' "gay" district. Although I've never hung out in the Cedar Springs area, some of my friends (straight and gay) rave about it. If you're not into the gay scene, not too far from Douglas Ave. is Lemmon Ave. where there are tons of restaurants and bars to choose from.

I haven't been to Douglas Ave in the recent years but the last I remember it, it's an old street but they do keep it very clean. Because Douglas Ave is really a by street into Cedar Springs and Lemmon Ave, there are a lot of cars during traffic hours and on weekend nights.

This area is great for young couples and singles who like to party, but I don't recommend its for families with kids.

"Very quiet street to raise a family"

I've been living on this street for 6 years and have not had any bad experiences on it. This street is located in the "Indian Creek" neighborhood and is close to a lot of retail places in the area.

At all times of the day, the street is very quiet and peaceful. The street is very clean because the neighbors here tries really hard to keep their front lawn and the street beautiful. All of the neighbors tipped in and raised money to have a "beautification" project at the entry way into this neighborhood.

All the people living on this street are very nice and polite people. The street is very safe and the only problems we've ever had is the kids from neighboring apartment complexes. The people living on this street are mostly busy so rarely do we have time to do neighborhood party/get together type of thing. But once a year, we do have a block party that we throw for the kids.

The cell phone reception is great here with Tmobile service. I don't know much about other providers but I'm sure it's all pretty good because there's a cell phone tower not too far from the neighborhood. As far as internet and cable TV, this area is service mostly be Verizon and Time Warner.

The value of this street is rising very year as property taxes are rising very year. Most of the houses on this street were valued at around $160 about 6 years ago when it was first built but now most of the houses are reaching $200,000. There's also an expansion of the Castle Hill neighborhood (houses in the millions) behind this street so the property value will only increase.

Overall, this street is very peaceful to live on and it's an ideal place to raise a family.

"Busy street with lots of retail options"

W Hebron Parkway is very nice and peaceful with a lot of commercial and residential buildings under development. There are neighborhoods like Moore's Farm and Castle Hill that's located on this street. These neighborhoods' average house prices are around $500,000. There are a lot of commercial buildings that are being built as well. At the intersection of Hebron Pkwy and SH 121, there is a strip mall that's being opened with restaurants and shops.

Currently the street is under construction so during traffic hours, it's pretty tough driving in it. At night, the street is very empty and dark. It seems like the city don't turn on the street lights anymore. But during the day, the street is very beautiful with green trees on both sides of the street and in the median.

Overall, Hebron Pkwy is very convenient for people to run errands as it has almost everything that a busy street would have.

"A busy street that's very nice and quiet"

I live at the intersection of Josey and Hebron and I love the area. During traffic hours, the streets can get crowded but it doesn't take up much time. This northern part of Josey Lane has a lot of shopping centers, restaurants and banks but it's not very pedestrian friendly as not all parts of it has sidewalks to walk or ride bikes. To get around this street, you're basically forced to use a car.

The road conditions are good as it's somewhat new. The city dug up the very northern end of this street to replace some water lines so half of the street and practicality new. The street look very lively with green trees on both sides of the street and in the median.
