"The heart of Allegany..."

Plenty of stuff to do on Main St. in Allegany. Have a few drinks at The Burton before getting a late night slice of pizza and finding an after hours party at one of the local college houses.

"Fun neighborhood"

Plenty of places to eat and drink around the ball park. South park is nice as a little getaway, but it isn't a cheap place to live.

"A little off the beaten path"

Clearly Portola Street isn't in the heart of SF or even the Presidio. That being said if you are looking for a quiet street to live inside a national park, it doesn't get much better.
