Every summer, as kids, we were running around the streets all day, pool hopping, kick ball games, etc. This is the best street in Keyport, it's hidden, but not out of the way, no one drives down it except the people who live on the block and all the people who live there know to drive slowly and safely. It's less than a mile to the Matawan train station where you can catch a train right to NYC. Less than a quarter mile to the water and downtown area. Easy access to all major highways in the area and the Garden State Parkway (about 1/2 a mile). I wouldn't change where I grew up for the world, I hope more people can enjoy Chingarora Avenue the way my family did.
