"steep hills, great views"
we love the central location on the peninsula - 20minutes to SF - 20 minutes to Silicon Valley
- 15 minutes to east bay.
The downtown dining options are limited but we are seeing many new restaurants opening on
Laurel street recently and the quality of the restaurants have improved noticeably.
San Carlos still lacks good retail shops and we have to hop over either to San Mateo or Palo Alto
for decent shopping.
As for access to the great outdoors, the location can't be beat. Edgewood road leads to Cananda
Road along crystal springs which is great for rollerblading , biking.
