"Great teriyaki restaurant"

When I visited, I stayed right around here. There's a TON of shopping and it's an absolutely beautiful view. Of course, none of this is the best part. the best part is Tengu Sushi and Teriyaki. This was some of the best food I've ever had and if you ever have a chance, I'd suggest trying it out. It's one block away from the University and there's always someone interesting to meet.

"Market of Museums"

I don't think you could find a street with more to do. There are a slew of museums including the beautiful San Jose Art Museum and The tech Museum. There is plenty of shopping and is definitely a staple for those visitors and tourists to this fair city. Nearby in the Plaza de Cesar Chavez, there is often times live music, festivals, and even an outdoor theater. On this road, you'll never find yourself bored, unless of course, you don't enjoy beautiful weather, interesting people, and things that inspire the mind and soul.

"Perfect for a family"

This street is perfect for a family just starting out. the houses aren't too big but they are comfortable for a small family. There are a ton of kids to play with and the adults are very active in the lives of their kids. The homes are very very close to downtown San Jose, only about fifteen minutes, so if someone in the household needed to commute, it's not too bad.

"So much to do, so little time."

Second street is full of stuff to do. It's full of clubs...sports clubs, comedy clubs, nightclubs, you name it. I wouldn't recommend this area for young kids, as there's not much to do. It's right near the University so it's always chock full of people to meet and hang out with. Mostly, it's apartments, so there's not really enough room for a large family anyways. the only caution I have is because of all the entertainment, it can get pretty noisy at night. If you don't mind though, it's perfect.

"Mostly older college students"

This street is populated by mostly older college students. I think they were mostly graduate students. The houses are nice, but there aren't many kids. However, the street is very quiet and calm. The folks who live there spend most of their time either on campus or studying, so if you're looking for privacy, you'll find it here. It's a great spot for an older couple or another college student.

"Great little road with plenty of neighbors"

The is a great little place just outside of downtown San Jose. It would be perfect for families. there are plenty of kids to make friends with. For the adults, there's plenty to do very very nearby. In fact, about 10 minutes away is the famed Winchester Mystery House that gives daily tours. I would highly recommend checking it out even if you're not into the ghost thing. It is definitely a great piece of history you wouldn't want to miss.

"Right next ot a beautiful garden"

the part of the street I visited was just across the war from an absolutely gorgeous rose garden. I can't remember the name of it, but the roses were in full bloom and I was absolutely thrilled. I was told that every once in a while, the city holds a volunteer day in the garden where they allow you to work on the roses and have a very pleasant day outside. This would be great for a gardener without the time to tend their own patch but would like to enjoy one.

"More college living"

The street is full of beautiful homes even though it seems to be populated by mostly young people. The street is about 100 yards away from the beautiful Rose Croix University that features absolutely picturesque temples, gardens, even an obelisk. This is a great place for young and old to live, although young children might find it a little boring at times as it is a small street with few kids.

"A great neighborhood for any sized family"

This street is great for families just starting out or just winding down. The houses aren't huge, but they are comfortable. The neighbors are friendly and really care for their homes in the form of constant lawn care and upkeep. Definitely a place you can allow your kids to play outside in our beautiful Cali weather.

"Beautiful College Living"

This street is great for the twenty-something, either attending school or not. It's about a block away from the main campus of San Jose State University. There is plenty to do, but I wouldn't recommend this street for kids. It's mostly college aged students in apartments, so it can get pretty noisy and rowdy. However, if you're looking for some quality house parties, this is the place for you.
