"Alamo Parkway presentation of shops"

This is a new growing area. I feel that they should have created the atmosphere of Alamo Pwy similar to the Rim. The Rim has an outstanding entrance way and a mix of great visual buildings. There is some plain buildings too but The Rim has just enough class to keep it fun and resort like. Hopefully Alamo Pwy can add a better entrance and other visually unique fun stuff when the stores fill in. But instead they went bland, boring, and cheap. Across 1604 is okay but more than what Alamo Pwy has to visually offer.
They aren't going to get or keep the area wealthy and posh. I think it will keep real estate low. There are already enough places to live where it is cheaper.
San Antonio is fairly small and we need more options of where to live, and not just the Dominion, Stone Oak, and Alamo Hts. The west side is neglected and kept plain looking. The middle class won't be as easily excited about the prospect of living there.
I actually do live on the west side off Potranco Road on the county border.
We need more large businesses to be on the west and south side to get those sides booming.

The layout of the streets suck which create terrible traffic jams everyday of the week on 1604 between Culebra and Bandera. The lights aren't timed, people drive in left lane and aren't passing...Typical San Antonio. But this stretch of road is terrible especially during rush hour traffic. Plan on sitting in traffic for 20 minutes in the short stretch of road (I've sat in it for 30 minutes or more).
But they will widen it or make it a hwy eventually.
