Favorite Places to Eat

Self-explanatory, these are my favorite places to eat on SI (pretty much all on the North Shore.)

1. Denino's - Hooker Avenue and Port Richmond Avenue

Denino's is hands down the best pizza I've ever eaten. I wish they would franchise, but it would probably lose the charm of the restaurant.
2. Egger's on Forest Avenue

Ice Cream Parlor with lots of homemade items. Delicious. Also a good candy selection.
3. Nurnberger Bierhaus - Castleton Avenue

Beers by the liter for $6-$8, who can go wrong? The food is also delicious, but a little pricey. Go for lunch to get cheaper meal options.
4. Joe and Pat's - Victory Blvd

I prefer Joe and Pat's to Goodfellas because I'm not a huge fan of brick oven pizza. Joe and Pat's is just a great pie.
5. Dick's Deli - Castleton Avenue

Solid deli. Very friendly workers. When we order for work, they usually throw in free cookies! It's more than just a sandwich deli, they make great hot food too - especially the ziti! Delicious crab cakes on Friday's.
