"Great busy street, close to everything."

North Newsom Street is a mostly residential street only a block away from one of the main roads in Mineola. Drivers will often choose to drive the length of this smaller street than deal with the heaver traffic of North Pacific Street, thus making North Newsom busier than many others on this side of town. The residents here get to enjoy the calming influence of housing one of Mineola's biggest churches and the Mineola Civic Center and playground.
