Yes and no. The buildings are beautiful and you get a lot of space (for Manhattan). It's quiet and there is a ton of green. But, it's not totally safe just yet -- but, then again, no place is in New York, and it's kind of a pain. All of the buildings are old so if you don't live on the first floor good luck getting a stroller to your apartment every day. And, every day conveniences like a grocery store aren't just right outside your window. There's a trade off, I suppose and it kind of depends on what's more important to you.
