Chelsea is weird because a lot of it is luxury buildings but you can definitely find a 2 bedroom for under $3000 / month. They're a bit trickier to track down, but if you are somewhat far west (i.e. west of 7th Ave) you can totally do it for around $2800 / month. A large majority that are closer to 6th Avenue run around $4000 - $5000 though.
