"The life on Tomas Rd in Phoenix, AZ"

Well what can I say. The neighborhood I lived in was on Tomas Rd just West of 16th Ave. The neighborhood was not that safe. You would always hear things on the news about how this happened to this person or that happening to that person. The air was hot and muggy. Childcare was nice they all loved kids and all had a good background. They were required to have that. Schools were ok other than the they way the kids at the schools were. Teachers at the schools were very helpful and cared about each individual having an education.

I remember going to school myself where if I was having trouble on something I got lots of after school help. My sister and mom both got their degrees there. My mom did hers in her late days and so did my sister but the teachers didn't down grade them for doing it so late they just helped them that much more.

Traffic was bad in the part of town I stayed in. The streets were always crowded. My mom would get off work at like 4pm and not get home until 5 or 6pm. We lived near the freeway so taking the streets wouldn't have made it any faster. Public transportation was worse. The buses were always late or too early. They always had a lot of people on them that were living on the streets. Carpooling was scary unless you knew who you were carpooling with.

The parks in Phoenix were nice as long as you were with someone. Sometimes you would see homeless people sleeping uder the trees at the parks. On the days you don't see those people it extremely nice. We used to go to a park called Enchanted Island at Encanto Park. It is a big amusement park with rides, games and birthday parties. Lots of people would go there and have cookouts and lots of kids would show up. It was beautiful.

When it all comes down to it I guess I could say some parts of Phoenix can be fun and beautiful, it all depends on where you are in Phoenix. Just know that on Tomas rd just West of 16th Ave is a bad area. Be sure to find reviews on where you want to relocate and find the safest parks like Enchanted Iasland at Encanto Park or just Encanto Park by the pond with the ducks.
