this is a nice quiet street. there is not too much traffic. fairly close to the cambrian park plaza that contains a grocery store, bank, bowling alley, fast food restruants and other little shops. the neighborhood is clean and friendly, and i have always enjoyed the time i spent living here.

We went shopping at the Santa Row shopping center and had a blast. They had tons of shops, restaurants and spas. We especially liked Maggiano's Little Italy restaurant. I believe there are around 60+ shops to go through. You can even stay at their hotel and relax after a long day of shopping!

When we were in San Jose, we also visited the Japanese Friendship Garden. It was a beautiful, relaxing place with pretty gardens. You can sit on the dock of the pond and feed the huge fish that live in the pond. It was a neat way to learn about another culture.

The neighbors are friendly and helpful. Kids from different families are outside playing together most of the time. Block parties, impromtu fun gatherings happen four five times a year. The age group of most of the couples is in mid 30s-40s.

With new restaurants and stores opening in local retail everything is within walking distance. Most homes have mature fruit trees and many have nice gardens. The local grill has classic car events in the summer.

I lived in an apartment complex on this street and couldn't wait until the lease was up! While I can say the landscaping was nice and Parkmoor is close to good shopping and restaurants, the area is pretty ghetto and noisy. Lived here when I first moved to the area. The appartmentsare very bright and airy and the amenities on site, pool, gym, etc exceelent.
Grea acces to freeways and light rail as well as the Oakridge mall with shops, bars, restaurants and movies.
Can be noisy esepcvially close to the pool.
