South 16th street is a great place to live. It is only a brief walk from historical downtown Belleville, which provides many neat shops, services, and a great enviroment. The YMCA in downtown Belleville is a great place for families! There are new retail stores nearby as well as many preexisting shopping centers. Belleville is close to downtown St. Louis, yet bordering Belleville are many small communities with country charm. Belleville has it all, history, shopping, and much more!
