This street is very quiet despite its close proximity to Colfax. Walking distance to two major grocery stores, banks, restaurants, other amenities. This is a suburban neighborhood in an urban setting. Parks surround it. Hawks, eagles, coyotes, foxes, and deer show up at the skateboard park. Views extend from Pikes Peak to Mt. Evans to Long's Peak. Traffic is low. Crime is low. Shopping, restaurants and nightlife are nearby.

I grew up a couple of miles from here and that was a nice neighborhood, too. Pretty much all of Lakewood is nice. Forest street is located in the Park Hill neighborhood in Denver. Just a few blocks East of Colorado Blvd. and north of 17th Avenue, Forest street is a quiet beautiful location. Large trees line the quiet streets and envelop the lovely homes. The classic homes are inviting and charming.

The old south Pearl street area is one of the best neighborhoods in Denver. 10 minutes from downtown, 5 blocks from I-25, and 2 minutes from Wash Park. Real estate prices are average+ and most properties are clean and elegant. This generally holds true for the Wash. Park area.

We moved in in March 2005. The first thing that attracted us was the view: beautiful and large panorama of the Rocky Mountains. The park for our kids is in front of it, the small lake provides a 30 minute easy walk for our dog, our kids and us.
