With a fun vibrant atmosphere, and plenty of places to shop or sit your tushy down, it's difficult not to enjoy this part of the city. East Congress (and Congress St itself) is a pretty long street, with plenty of sites to take in, even if the traffic gets a little dense.

Nothing to see here, move on to another street.

The street may be short, but somehow it managed to get itself squeezed between a memorial and the Tucson Children's Museum. So if you need a place where the kids can burn some sugar off, this is definitly the place. Another plus is the light traffic, quiet and somewhat safe.

My husband and I splurged one night and stayed at the Miraval Tucson Resort. It is found on this very quiet and private road. There is not much on this road besides scenery and the Omni Tucson National Golf Resort. Very private and a pretty drive to check out if you are in the area.

Very close to bars, restaurants and university. This is one of the rare places in Tucson where you can actually walk around and do fun stuff. There is a dirty side to things too though. Lots of noise between the trains, the high school and 4th avenue goings on. Lots of tweekers in the iron horse...

I wish there were more pooper scoopers living here.

Good place for families

This street is actually in the Town of Marana but has a Tucson address. The whole Continental Ranch/Reserve area really is a nice place for families. My street is quiet. Not much traffic noise. A few dogs on the street that bark occasionally but nothing too bad.

Hometown feel

This street in this community has a nice hometown feel. Many kids to play with means your kids won't get bored and there are always familiar faces outside.

I live in the dust bowl of No. AZ. The water is so expensive that people just don't want to plant trees and vegetation. Our roads are from the 18th Century! We can't get the County to grade them, so we have to drive like we are in a horse and buggy! We all have acreage, so we really don't socialize...

Lost of families, retirees, and senior college students. The look of the area is improving with young people moving in and renovating houses. Most of the neighborhood was built in the late 40s, many houses have a lot of charm.

There are only homes (14) on the north side of the street and only two homes fronting on the cul-de-sac at the east end. A Pima County Park fronts on the rest of the cul-de-sac and the entire south side of the street. Some homes have swimming pools. All have walled in rear yards. School bus stop...

This is the best hidden street in Phoenix that I know of. My family lived barely a mile from this street when I was a child and we didn't know it existed.

On 2 city bus lines, and one campus shuttle line. Decent eating and a grocery store within walking distance. Just watch out for the ghettobird flying overhead at night.
