Currajong Avenue

"Fantastic living in the heart of the sunnyside estate"

Currajong Avenue is a beautiful tree lined street, that's quite a serene place to live. The neighbours are all friendly and most of them have been in the area for a fairly long time. Everyone is very helpful and even at time when we were away from the house our neighbours were even getting our mail and taking our bins - looking after the place for us.

Another positive is that Burke road is only a short walk away with great access to shopping and camberwell junction literally two tram stops away.

Overall I would have to say that Currajong has been one of my favourite places to live and I would certainly move back here one day!

Doncaster Road

"Shoppingtown makes this street a delight!"

Nothing can compare to living with walking distance of a major shopping center....and this is exactly what Doncaster Road offers. Mid 2007 Doncaster Shoppingtown underwent a major renovation and since opening later last year has made Doncaster the suburb to live. While some people might complain about the attraction of traffic to the area, I completely disagree. The addition of this great shopping center has made the suburb so much more livable, with virtually every amenity being catered for.

Let not forgot about all the other amazing things Doncaster has to offer such as great parks, great primary schools, fantastic public transport and much much more. Doncaster Road is the heart line of this wonderful suburb...so look no where else in Doncaster!

Kelly Street

"A great place to grow up in"

Kelly street was one of those streets where you know everyone! All the neighbours are really friendly and it was a great place to be. With close proximity to Shoppingtown, it's great if you want to go and do some shopping. It's just a short 5 minute stroll up to shoppo - which is being redeveloped as I write so it will be even better!

There are lots of kids being able to play a lot of street cricket and football, so I wouldn't recommend being here if you don't like kids playing in the street, so it can occasionally be noisy during daylight hours. In addition, the proximity to Shoppingtown can have some bad effects during christmas time as some of the locals tend to park their cars in teh street and walk up when the centre is full.

The houses here are all nice and property prices have been steadily climbing for some time, so yuo are bound to do well as property owners. There doesn't seem to be any people who are "renters" so almost everyone takes some pride in the appearance of the street.

I would certainly recommend living in Kelly Street.

Seymour Grove

"Traffice nightmare!"

Seymour Grove is a nice street. When you take out the peak hour traffic that is.

As far as a place to live, it's all got very nice houses, but it's pretty much a main road during all hours. People use this street as a cut through from burke road and taronga road to head through to camberwell road and through onto Camturbury Road in Balwyn without having to go through the junction.

There is pretty good access to public transport via either Burke road or Camberwell road, both within a quick walking distance. Don't try to cross the road though as it's such a busy street, you're likely to get knocked down!

Sunnyside Avenue

"Very pretty street"

Sunnyside looks like a really nice street to live in. It's full of old californian bungalows, most of which have been either restored or kept in great condition. It's a beautiful street to walk down and provided you are far enough away from burke road, a very quiet one too. There are plenty of new houses being put up here, but all of them add to the character of the street. While it may be a bit on the expensive side, if you can afford to live here, then it would say go for it!

Considered one of the more prestigious streets in camberwell, Sunnyside is really close to the camberwell junction where there are heaps of shops and plenty of options for public transport.

Overall, I would have to say this is a nice street to live.

Sarah Crescent

"Luxury Living at it's best!"

I've been living in Sarah Cres for about 15 years now and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. While the public transport and roads are pretty ordinary, the peacful lifestyle along with massive acre blocks make for one hell of a nice place to live.

We've got all the amenities that you can think of - great high speed cable and pay tv as well. Power, water, gas etc are all top notch and it's a pretty rare thing to ever have any of these services drop out.

Most of the neighbours are ok, but with the type of people who live in our street, we rarely get to see them all that often as the younger people are out and about with friends and the older people tend to stick to themselves. This is fine in a way, but you never really get to know who your living near.

Overall, I would have to say that this street is perfect for families with teh big houses and lots of areas to play with good access to primary schools and a few creches near by too.

Ultra modern? As in, they're rediculous shapes or just NEW but classic styled houses?

Latham Drive

"A perfect place to relax and unwind!"

I've been in Latham drive for many years now and I never get sick of being there. It has pretty much everything that you could ask for! It's a short walk to one of the most famous beaches in australia (they hold the iron man competition there) and the shops and nightlife are just a short walk away.

I think that this is one of the best places to live!
