9th Avenue is the main north/south thoroughfare for the Inner Sunset neighborhood. At the intersection of 9th and Irving St. you will find many restaraunts, including but not limited to, Indian, Thai, Chinese, New Orleans style, American, Mexican, Korean and Mediterranean.

It's a great neighborhood for families with close access to Golden Gate park and the museums of GGP. E.g. the new DeYoung art museum and the soon to be completed Cal Academy of the Sciences. The music concourse is a wonderful gathering place on Saturdays and Sundays for families who live close by, and from around the area.

The schools are the best, bar none in SF, including Alice Fong Yu, Clarendon, Grattan and the list goes on.
