Gary Mintz

About Me

Gary is an agent on the Conway Team, which he joined in April 2011. His past career as an attorney provides Gary with a unique set of skills when reviewing and negotiating a real estate transaction. As a litigator, Gary developed a strong ability to negotiate even under the most difficult situations. “When negotiating a settlement it was always my goal to get the best possible deal for my clients, while still maintaining a good relationship with the other side so that we could complete the transaction.” Throughout his career Gary has drafted, negotiated and reviewed hundreds of contracts.  Gary lives in the Queen Village section of Philadelphia with his wife and three young daughters. His two oldest are students at Meredith Elementary. Gary is involved in many community groups. He is a member of the “Friends of Weccacoe” fund-raising task force, whose goal is to help renovate the playground at 4th and Catharine. Originally from New York--“please don’t hold that against me”-- Gary moved to Philadelphia in 1993 after graduating from Rutgers Camden School of Law. As a transplant, Gary has grown to LOVE Philadelphia. “ I have lived in Philadelphia since the early 90s and have seen this city grow and become a wonderful place to work, live and socialize. I can’t think of any city that offers the same amenities-- restaurants, parks, theater, museums and social life--while still providing the level of affordability found here.” Gary still has a vivid memory of the first home he bought long before he became an agent and the emotional roller coaster ride he took: “I understand that the buying and selling of a home is one of the most significant moments in a person’s life.
