"Pretty, and secluded"
Sanborn Road, off of Route 9, is appropriately home to several nature centers as well as Sanborn-Skyline County Park. There is not a huge amount of significance to this road other than these sites, although it is, like most of hillside Saratoga, very beautiful and very remote. It takes a certain type of person to want to live this remote area, but the benefit to being here is the semblance of wooded seclusion with a great downtown area within a 15-minute drive.
I am not sure how many people actually live here - if they do, their homes are probably hidden miles off the main road and are valued in the eight-figure range, so it is difficult to tell. Like all of these hilltop roads, the biggest drawbacks are the poor cell phone reception and the fact that it is relatively difficult to get to.
