As you may know there was a drug ring bust on the UWS Tuesday.

@hhusted I am not sure but hhusted I dont think anyone on this forum lives on the UWS but I could be wrong..

I don't, @uptowngirl, but I'm there a lot and have friends that do. Some HIGH SCHOOLERS arrested for selling heroin? That's just depressing..

Yeah. People are getting desperate. Money is tight for a lot of people and some resort to drug dealing to pay their bills. Why not. They can get up to one million for just a couple of kilos. So they say take a chance with the cops and do it. The problem is that when the deal goes sour, someone ends up getting shot.

My sister lives in the UWS . . . I hope she wasn't involved :) It's amazing the things that will cross your mind when your back is against the wall.
