Trinkling Lights on Trees

Anyone happen to see the twinkling lights on the trees between Broadway and 6th Avenue at 34th St? I saw them as I was going to my screenwriting class last night. It looks like streaming lights going from one branch to another. They look really cool.

I haven't had a chance to get up close to the trees to see what was used, but I am assuming they took a string of LEDs and hung them on tree branches.

@hhusted isn't this a regular feature of NYC winters? many trees on the UES are adorned with twinkling fairy lights during the holiday season and they look absolutely splendid though I think individual buildings take them down by the end of January. I havent really checked or even gone past Midtown at night to comment on the trees there.

Gorgeous, although my favorite lights are the ones on Park Avenue after the tree lighting - those are my favorites!

I don't know about your neck of the woods since I do not get down there that often, uptowngirl. I just know the lights have been on the tree for a long time, and it appears that no one is going to take them down.
