Whether you are a native New Yorker, or just visiting, you have to go see The Cloisters. The Cloisters is located at Fort Tryon Park near the northern tip of Manhattan on a hill overlooking the Hudson River. The Cloisters includes a museum and four acres of ground. The Cloisters is a famed historic landmark that features a huge collection of five thousand European medieval works of art. Some of the pieces date back to the twelth and fifteenth century.

This is a must see, especially for those who are into european art.
