Strange Roads Around 24th and Broadway

Has anyone been around 24th St and Broadway recently. I went there today to the AT&T store to get my cellphone fixed and as I was walking down 5th Ave, I noticed how Broadway went like catercorner to 24th St and 5th Ave. The way the roads were put in down there was weird. Maybe it is because of the park on Park Ave and 24th. I don't know. There is a landing that separates 5th Ave and Broadway. But at one point the landing sort of crosses each other. It is hard to explain. It is just weird the way the roads were designed.

I just wondered if anyone noticed the same thing.
