What do you like more - soda or juice. I prefer juice since it is healthier.

@hhusted most nutritionists will tell you fruit juice is not exactly healthy- Juices contain a lot of sugar because when juice is extracted from a whole fruit the fiber is discarded and what's left is mostly sugar. For instance a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice has about a 100 calories but less then one gram of fiber while a whole orange has only 85 calories but nearly four grams of fiber. It is believed that the fiber in fruit helps slow the absorption of sugar which spikes when fruit juice is consumed on its own though I guess juice is definitely better than sugary sodas. Juice chains like Jamba Juice, Papaya King and Gray's Papaya are extremely popular in NYC especially during the summer months but I bet their juices pack quite a lethal punch calorie wise.

Well, no matter what the experts claim, I would rather have a glass of apple juice, than a glass of soda any day of the week. The soda burns my stomach too much. I usually go for 100% apple juice. I realize the juices in the jars at the store are not pure juices. Even the label says they are only 5% or 105 juice. The rest is water. Despite these drawbacks, I would still rather have juice over soda. At least I am getting some vitamins, even if little compared to soda which is full of sugar.
