NYC Firefighters

I don't know about the rest of you, but I have noticed that firefighters arrive at the scene of a fire faster than in the past. There was an apartment on fire last night at the end of the block I live on. Within 10 minutes a fire truck was at the scene. If firefighters do this everywhere in the city, it would help to cut down on fire damage, since they can get there faster and put the fire out sooner.
