Madison Square Garden

Have you ever gone to Madison Square Garden to see a hockey game or fight? If you haven't you are missing great action as well as a terriic atmosphere. Madison Square Garden is the home to many events and sports teams.

It started on February 11, 1968. This was the offical opening day. Ever since this day, the Garden has been host to many Knicks championship games, including 4 eastern conference championships and 2 NBA championships, along with a Rangers Stanley Cup in 1994, and the fight of the century between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier on March 8, 1971.

During the years, many entertainers have performed at the Garden including Elton John, Elvis Presley, Billy Joel, The Rolling Stones, Frank Sintra, Bruce Springsteen, and many more.

Next time you visit NYC make sure to check out Madison Square Garden. You'll be glad you did. By the way, Madison Square Garden was built on top of stores and a subway.
