Fines for Not Shoveling Snow

I don't know if anyone knew this, but in NYC, if the sidewalk in front of your building is not cleared, the owner of the building could face a fine of up to $100.

NYC passed a law that makes shoveling snow after a snowstorm a law. And if you don't do it, you could be fined.

If you want to read more about it, go here:

The next time it snows, and you want some cash, think about shoveling for the sanitation department. You'll be helping your neighbor avoid fines, and get paid to.

Too bad they don't enforce that everywhere!

Yeah, I hear you. Maybe if they did, more sidewalks will be clear after a snowstorm.
