1950s Valentine's Day Party

If anyone was around in the 50's (not trying to age you), and enjoyed the food, you may like Venus in the Kitchen Valentine's Cocktail Party. They are preparing that type of food. You can get your mouthful of it, by going to Word at 126 Franklin St at Milton St, in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.

How fantastic! I wasn't alive in the 50's, but it was my mom's generation - I enjoy watching Bye Bye Birdie on occasion! Perhaps I'll check it out...

Yeah. I was around then. Although I was very, very young at the time, I grew up with country and the oldies, along with popular music, so I would really be glad to go to this event.

I'd definitely be interested in going to more retro events in the near future - anybody know if other 50's events are being held around the city with any regularity?
