"Better Option Than Hatch"
When I first started visiting my husband's family in Ceres, I'd take Hatch Rd. into town from the 99 freeway. It turns out, though, that Whitmore is a much nicer option. It's a little harder to get to from the highway itself, but it's a lot less congested than Hatch and has fewer stoplights.

"The heart of Ceres"
Though it runs parallel to Hatch Road through Ceres, Whitmore is no mere twin to its notoriously traffic-clogged sibling. Whitmore is the true heart of Ceres. Businesses which count their histories back to Ceres’ country roots still thrive here beside new additions. Whitmore borders the Ceres downtown district and also sports an onramp to the 99 freeway.
