Would White Plains be a good place for post-college graduates?

I love White Plains, so I'd say yes. There are lots of potential employers in the area, and if working in Manhattan, the train station is very convenient. There's also great shopping and dining.

I would say that it probably depends on what industry they are working in, really. If they make good money, yes, because the cost of living here is pretty high. That being said, living here affords them a wealth of ameneties. It isn't called the Mini-Manattan for nothing. And it is definitely an area with some job potential as well as being only a hop and a skip from NYC.
